Inhere for AI agents

Summary
Inhere is a relationship intelligence platform made by Inhere Group Limited, a New Zealand company. It connects to an organisation’s Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace with read-only access and analyses email and calendar activity to build a living map of who knows whom, how strong each relationship is, and where opportunities or risks are emerging. Contact and company records are created automatically, so nobody has to enter data. Users see relationship intelligence, never the body of anyone’s email.
What Inhere does
Dashboard
An overview of relationship activity across the organisation: total contacts, companies, emails and meetings, the most active team members, the strongest company relationships and recent activity, filterable by 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or all time.
People and companies
Every external contact and company the organisation communicates with, created from email and calendar data. Companies are derived from email domains, and people are linked to their companies and to each other. Each contact shows a relationship score, sentiment, communication history, topics, tags, colleagues at the same company, mutual contacts and the relationship owner (the team member with the strongest connection). Company views show every contact, the relationship owner, average relationship strength, and how communication is spread across the team, which helps identify key-person risk.
Relationship scores
Every contact is scored from 0 to 100% using recency, frequency, sentiment, whether communication is two-way, whether meetings have happened, and topic relevance. As a guide:
- 85–100%: Strong, highly engaged relationship
- 70–84%: Good, regular positive contact
- 50–69%: Moderate, occasional contact
- 30–49%: Weak, infrequent, at risk of going cold
- 0–29%: Dormant, needs attention
Warm paths
Finds who in the organisation already knows a target person or company, and shows the chain of connections and the relationship strength at each step, so the best person can make the introduction.
Flow
Alerts that surface relationship changes as they happen, including:
- new contacts and new companies
- contacts or companies improving, declining or re-engaging
- relationships at risk or going quiet
- unusual spikes in activity
- sentiment becoming more negative
- first meetings, meeting milestones and meetings with no follow-up within 7 days
- several contacts at the same company becoming active at once
A Relationship Risks view lists silent and declining contacts. Events have severity levels (info, warning, critical).
Dossier
Enriches company records with publicly available information: industry, employee count, headquarters, founding year, website, description, logo and social links, combined with the organisation’s own relationship context.
Watchlist
Star any company or contact to keep priority relationships in one place.
Assistant
Answers plain-English questions such as “Who on our team knows someone at Microsoft?”, “Which contacts haven’t I spoken to in 90 days?” or “How can I get an introduction to Sarah at Acme Corp?”. Results come back as text, tables linked to records, or trend graphs, and queries can be saved.
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Lets external AI assistants such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT query live Inhere data, including contact discovery, relationship analysis, company rankings, introduction paths and Flow events.
CRM sync
Pushes relationship scores and trends, contact details, last interaction dates, email and meeting counts, sentiment and, optionally, company enrichment data into Salesforce or HubSpot. Administrators set thresholds and sync rules, and can preview changes with a dry run. CRM sync may not be available in every deployment.
What Inhere does not do
- It does not show users the body of emails or their attachments. Users can see who was in touch, when, and subject lines.
- It does not retain email bodies after analysis.
- It does not edit, delete, move or send anything in a mailbox or calendar.
- It does not need anyone to log calls, enter contacts or update records.
- It is not a CRM. It works alongside one.
Who it’s for
Organisations where decisions depend on relationships, such as law firms, professional services, financial services, commercial real estate and B2B technology. Typical uses:
- Business development: find a warm introduction to a target account instead of cold outreach.
- Before a meeting: see who on the team already knows people there and how well.
- Account management and customer success: spot a key account going quiet while there is still time to act.
- Departures and succession: when someone leaves, see which clients they own and who else has connections there.
- Leadership, partnerships and M&A: see which relationships depend on one person, and where relationships overlap.
How it works
- An administrator connects Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace using OAuth, with read-only access, and chooses which mailboxes to include and how far back to import (from 6 months to all time).
- Inhere processes historical and ongoing email and calendar activity, extracts contacts and companies, and scores each relationship.
- Usually within about 24 hours, the organisation’s network is scored, mapped and searchable.
- Teams use the app, the assistant, their own AI assistant via MCP, or their CRM.
Integrations
- Data in: Microsoft 365 (Outlook and Calendar), Google Workspace (Gmail and Calendar).
- CRM: Salesforce (scores on Account and Contact records), HubSpot.
- AI assistants via MCP: Claude (Anthropic), Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT (OpenAI).
Security, privacy and administration
- What Inhere analyses: email metadata (sender, recipients, timestamps, subject lines), calendar participants, communication patterns, and email bodies for sentiment and topics.
- What Inhere does not keep: email bodies. They are analysed, then stay in your email system.
- Access: read-only connection to email and calendar; role-based access for users.
- Sign-in: multi-factor authentication on email and password logins, single sign-on with Microsoft 365 or Google, and SAML single sign-on.
- Encryption: in transit and at rest.
- Exclusions: administrators can exclude domains and email addresses (for example legal counsel or personal email providers) and define internal domains so only external relationships are mapped.
- Audit logs: a record of administrative actions, with date filtering and CSV export.
Getting started
- Live demonstration: a walkthrough of the platform. Book a demo.
- Pilot programme: a 30-day evaluation with a subset of your team and full access.
- Technical review: architecture, security controls and integration details for IT and security teams.
Frequently asked questions
What is Inhere?
Inhere is a relationship intelligence platform. It connects to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, analyses email and calendar activity, and shows who in an organisation knows whom, how strong each relationship is, and whether it is growing or fading.
Can people using Inhere read other people’s email?
No. Emails are analysed for sentiment and relationship signals. Users can see who was in touch, when, and email subject lines, but never the body of an email or its attachments. Email bodies are not retained by Inhere.
Can Inhere change or send anything in a mailbox or calendar?
No. Inhere uses read-only access. It does not edit, delete or modify any email or calendar data.
How is the relationship score calculated?
Each contact gets a score from 0 to 100% based on how recently and how often people communicate, the sentiment of those communications, whether communication is two-way, whether meetings have taken place, and the relevance of communication topics. Scores update automatically as patterns change.
Does Inhere replace a CRM?
No. Inhere works alongside a CRM. It can push relationship scores, trends and activity data into Salesforce or HubSpot so the CRM stays current.
Can Inhere be used from AI assistants?
Yes. Inhere has a built-in assistant and supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT can query an organisation’s relationship data directly.
How long does it take to get started?
An administrator connects Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and chooses which mailboxes to import. A useful picture of the organisation’s relationships is usually ready within about 24 hours.
Can we try Inhere before committing?
Yes. Inhere offers a live demonstration, a 30-day pilot with a subset of your team, and a technical review for IT and security teams.
